Playboy Jazz Festival kicks off this weekend

The 38th Playboy Jazz festival will take place on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. For the fourth consecutive year, comedian George Lopez will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The two day festival—presented by The Los Angeles Philharmonic—will feature performances by Fourplay, Jon Beasley’s MONK’estra, Naturally 7, Cecile McLorin Salvant, The Bad Plus with Joshua Redman, Seth MacFarlane with conductor Joel McNeely, Los Van Van, John Batiste & Stay Human, Janelle Monae, Harvey Mason, Anthony Strong, Joey Alexander Trio and Liv Warfield. In addition, the Robert Cray Band, with guests Sonny Landreth and Roy Gaines, will perform a tribute to the late B.B. King.

The Hollywood Bowl has a seating capacity of nearly 18,000, and tickets will range from $35- $210.
