Introducing to you the steel drum music of Sir Cedrick Luces, south Florida and the Florida Keys’ most sought after Steel Drum Player and Miami’s 1991 Calypso King. In his twenties, Cedrick came to the United States and played with celebrated jazz pannist Othello Mollineaux, and performed with the legendary jazz bass player Jaco Pastorius. Cedrick creates original impromptu melodies and transforms them through the velvet, bell-like tones of his steel drum music. He is a versatile musician adapting his playing techniques to incorporate the best jazz, calypso, and reggae for a smooth original sound.
