British quintet The Jazz Defenders led by pianist/keyboardist George Cooper are back with a little taste from their second album in the making. “The Big Man” is a bold and brassy dancefloor jazz gem while the B-side is “Love’s Vestige”, a grooving mid-60’s style soul jazz number with a Latin beat and cinematic overtones.
