Award- winning guitarist Denin Koch synthesizes jazz, rock, classical and popular music influences into a unique sound that captivates diverse audiences. His debut album, “re: manhattan project” explores the legacy of the American nuclear legacy (in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki) with haunting compositions and exciting group interplay. Koch is known for his “vocal-like lines,” “impressive chops” and “attention-grabbing” compositions. He holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Whitworth University. His teachers and mentors include Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein, Bob Sneider, Dave Rivello, Brent Edstrom and Dan Keberle.
