Yaron Herman

Radio Paradise (Naïve Records)

Jazz pianist and composer Yaron Herman announces his new album “Radio Paradise”, which is coming out via Naïve Records on April 4th. The album features an exceptional ensemble, including two of the finest saxophonists in the world, María Grand and Alexandra Grimal, alongside long-time collaborators bassist Haggai Cohen Milo and drummer Zic Ravitz. “Radio Paradise” blends lyricism, depth, and sincerity through elegant melodies and powerful rhythms, exhibiting Yaron Herman’s unique approach to composition and improvisation. The album celebrates the power of connection, using music to unite and spread positivity. With pieces that range from groovy and joyful to meditative and contemplative, the dynamic album Radio Paradise captures the magic of life and the wonders of jazz, while encouraging creativity and shared humanity.

“Improvisation is a quest for the sweet spot between freedom and constraint – a celebration of playfulness. It’s about offering the tools without building the final edifice, providing the canvas without dictating the painting. That’s how Radio Paradise came to be. The title emerged spontaneously during a studio discussion about the harmony of opposites and the artist’s role in reconciling them. Our goal was to find the space where music flows effortlessly and from the heart,” explains Yaron Herman about the album.
