Passages (Craig Brenner Music)

Called “a fine and funky pianist” by Living Blues, Craig Brenner grew up in Florida, where he studied piano with Elizabeth Fishbein and jazz with Wally Cirillo. At the Indiana University School of Music he studied piano with Enrica Cavallo, improv with David Baker, and composition with John Eaton. After leaving school he began playing blues and boogie woogie, and in 2015 began The Bloomington Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Festival. With 7 recordings, his most recent is Passages. Along with performing and recording with Craig & The Crawdads and The Ragin’ Texans, Craig composes, arranges, and teaches.
