The Jazz Cookbook

On the Jazz Threshold (NazJazz)

From the Millman-Naz Vaults, this reels-based Jazz recording was produced by Jack Millman in 1981 with the (then) young Bobby Pickwood. Bobby had just formed his own band, “The Jazz CookBook”, to perform and record some of his original music and arrangements. Bobby’s natural talent lead him to also write and produced music for various film projects and commercials, even being named associate musical director for the stage production of the “Cotton Club”, to be performed in Las Vegas. This peek at his early career remains a must-have favourite for your collection.
