Ben Williams is a bassist, bandleader and composer from Washington, D.C. In 2009, he won the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Bass Competition, which led to stints with Stefon Harris, Bilal and Pat Metheny. His latest album is ‘I Am a Man.’
