Sands’ new album, Be Water, will be released on July 17 via Mack Avenue, and captures and establishes him as a forceful leader in composition and conceptual vision. Almazan, on top of being a top jazz pianist today, is the head of Biophilia Records, a record label committed to an environmentally-conscious approach in its packaging and distribution.
