Benny Rubin Jr is a saxophonist based in New York. Born in Flint, Michigan raised in Detroit. Since moving to New York Rubin has played with artist such as Roy Hargrove, Reggie Workman, Barry Harris and Winard Harper. Rubin formed his quartet in 2017. The Quartet debut album is set to release June 8, 2020. The album reflects the times we’re in.
